This specifically designed green house for the Camas School District accommodates a learning environment for fundamental plant propagation and nursery agriculture as well as providing a field classroom for biology and science classes.  This sloping site, though difficult to build on, provided excellent sun orientation.  A future major vehicle arterial will be passing along the front of this building so the district wanted to present an organized and attractive face to the street with this design.

The framing system was all fungus-resistant treated wood, including the trusses which were special ordered from the truss manufacturer with treated lumber and galvanized truss plates and hardware.
