This project had unique opportunities including a single house that was to remain and used for office space and the new building that was to be modular construction.  The new building needed to sit within close proximity to the house.  The final solution allowed for very cost effective construction and a quick schedule.  The site, located next to a wooded area and creek, helped to create a sheltered and pastoral outdoor play area. The floor plan was oriented to allow ample natural daylight into each classroom and also give direct access to the play areas.  An extensive conditional use permitting process was required on this project.

Head Start and child care facility of approximately 11,200 SF.  108 children in 7 classrooms.  Building includes full service kitchen and generous covered outdoor spaces.  Parking for 45 automobiles and bus loading zones with circulation.
